Department of Community Resources

The Town of Greenburgh’s Department of Community Resources seeks to improve the quality of life for residents by providing a variety of educational, social, cultural, and recreational programs and activities. Located within the Theodore D. Young Community Center (TDYCC) facility, our dedicated staff work together to achieve the goal of this mission, which is the foundation that allows us to remain the premier outreach and resource facility within the state of New York. The concept and vision of the department began over 50 years ago and continues to guide our multifaceted efforts. Our younger generation depends on us for guidance, opportunities, and mentoring. Our older generation depends on us for compassion, companionship, and comfort. Our middle generations depend on us for valuable resources and information that help them to care for their loved ones and themselves. We strive to meet the needs and wants of our community and continue to serve as the beacon of hope in this forever changing and fast-paced global society.
