To provide a safe and quiet environment of adequate size to the Mount Kisco community in order to read, write. learn. meet with others and participate in cultural programs. Its goals: 1.)open access to information and materials needed for the education, self-improvemnt and enjoyment of its patrons. 2.) programming for all ages and all constituents of the community with emphasis on promoting a love for reading. 3.) to collaborate with organizations and agencies in area of mutual interest for the benefit of the people of Mount Kisco. 4) be responsive to the changing needs of the community and technological opportunities which might enhance the services provided by the library. 5) to deliver services in a professional courteous and cost-effective manner.
