Walkabout Education Foundation

The Walkabout Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to advocate for and expand challenge-oriented, experiential education programs in the Walkabout model. This time-tested approach to education provides students with a sense of self-confidence, community, life skills and core values at a critical and transformative time of life. We are a network of alumni, parents, educators and supporting foundations that believe these programs empower individuals to dramatically improve themselves and the world around them.
