American Red Cross Northeastern New York
http://www.redcross.org/ny/albanySince 1908, the Red Cross has: trained the people of these communities in life-saving skills, prepared them for disasters, and helped them recover when disasters occur. All assistance is provided by a small group of staff and more than 2,400 dedicated volunteers. The Northeastern New York Region serves a population of nearly 1.9 million people in a 14,900 square mile service area. The region reaches from the Mid-Hudson Valley to the Canadian border, with Chapters located in Poughkeepsie, Albany, Glens Falls and Morrisonville.
