The Acceleration Project (TAP) is an innovative consulting firm that provides high-caliber business advice to small businesses, entrepreneurs, municipalities and nonprofits, with a focus on minority and women-owned businesses. TAP leverages the untapped potential of professional women to accelerate local economic development. TAP is a 501c(3), supported by grants and donations in order to serve our clients at a cost well below market. Our dual mission is to: • Ignite the vitality of local economies by providing strategic and tactical advice to accelerate small business growth, and to • Recruit, train and mobilize women professionals to make a meaningful impact in the community while continuing their career development.
