Access Equestrian, Adaptive Riding & Horsemanship Program
http://www.accessequestrian.orgFounded in 2010, Access Equestrian, Adaptive Riding & Horsemanship Program is a not-for-profit organization that proudly serves children and adults with a broad range of disabilities and their families. Our professional staff work closely with our clients to develop and execute individualized plans that meet our client's goals. The mission is to provide the therapeutic benefits of adaptive riding, hippotherapy, horsemanship, and other equine-assisted activities in order to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and other life challenges. We offer services for children and adults with physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities. Additionally, we offer unmounted horsemanship classes and vocational training to people who want to work with horses and cannot or choose not to ride. Our United States Pony Club chapter offers advanced learning opportunities to riders for whom it is appropriate, along with an increased requirement of responsibility and independence. Access Equestrian, Adaptive Riding & Horsemanship Program makes a difference, with empathy and humor, to empower our community.
