Adaptive Riding Program Volunteers

Access Equestrian, Adaptive Riding & Horsemanship Program is seeking a diverse population of kind and caring volunteers who have an interest in working with horses. Volunteers are needed for its adaptive riding lessons for school-aged children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Volunteer duties vary according to each particular schedule, but include everything from barn care and horse handling, leading and side-walking in lessons, and assisting adults and children with disabilities. All volunteers will receive orientation training before joining the program, and additional training may be required upon placement and experience.

This program operates Tuesday through Sunday and volunteers are needed for at least two hours per week. LGBTQ and BIPOC volunteers are encouraged to apply and support Access Equestrian's diverse community! Express interest below.
