Community Engagement Committee
Able Athletics empowers children with special needs through adaptive and inclusive sports. It is currently seeking dedicated volunteers who are passionate about building connections and fostering a supportive community for children with disabilities to join its Community Engagement Committee.
Responsibilities:
- Develop outreach strategies
- Plan community events
- Promote awareness of Able Athletics' mission
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic individuals who support Able Athletics' mission
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in community engagement or event planning is a plus, but not required
Commitment:
- Volunteers must be willing to give a one year commitment
- The community engagement committee will meet once per month
Location:
- This is a remote/virtual position, with the exception of attending live events if needed
Able Athletics' volunteers make a meaningful impact on children with differences and their families while building skills and connecting with a passionate community. Express interest below!
